Did you know that the Maryland State Deadline to submit your 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is March 1, 2018? For priority awarding of the 2+2 Transfer Scholarship, this means that you have approximately THREE WEEKS to submit your FAFSA!
Why wait? Submit your 2018-2019 FAFSA today so that you may be considered for the 2+2 Transfer Scholarship and other state financial aid programs for the 2018-2019 academic year. To submit your FAFSA please visit www.fafsa.gov.
Once you have submitted your 2018-2019 FAFSA, you may apply for the 2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship by creating an account within the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS). To create or log into your existing MDCAPS account (if applicable), please visit https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.u
Once you have created an MDCAPS account, you will see the “Apply” link where you may submit your 2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship application and view any additional documentation required for consideration of the scholarship.
Please note that the 2018-2019 2+2 Transfer Scholarship application and all additional documents required must be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Assistance at the Maryland Higher Education Commission no later than August 31, 2018. However we encourage you to submit all of your documentation, particularly the FAFSA by March 1st!
