Thursday:
- St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks Board June meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with a tour of the St. Mary’s Gymnastics Center facility, located at 21770-A FDR Blvd. in Great Mills. - Leonardtown Rotary Paddle for Heroes Kayak & Paddleboard Race. The event not only raises scholarship money for First Responders and their families but also military personnel to attend the Warfighter Advance 7-Day Post-combat Reintegration Program. - Blue and Gray Days. Experience living history events at Civil War sites around Point Lookout State Park, site of Point Lookout prisoner of war camp during the American Civil War. See living history programs with open camps, period weapons demonstrations and more. - St. Mary’s County Crab Festival. The annual event is a celebration of St. Mary’s County crab culture and cooking. Steamed hard crabs, soft crabs, crab cakes, crab soups and other seafood dishes will be available for purchase. Car & bike show, regional crafters, live music, children’s activities.
