DAHLGREN, Va. (Aug. 23, 2018) – Steering Committee members of the fifth annual Unmanned Systems Integration Workshop and Technical Exchange Meeting are pictured in front of a Common Unmanned Surface Vehicle. The speakers at this year’s event – a who’s who of military and civilian unmanned systems experts throughout the Naval Research and Development Establishment – briefed on technologies and policies related to offensive payload applications via autonomous unmanned systems. Situational briefs, senior leadership perspectives, and related policy background provided attendees – including Naval Warfare Center scientists and engineers – with the necessary information to develop agile weapon systems integrated across all domains. The two-day event was co-hosted by NSWCDD and NSWC Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (IHEODTD).
