Sealed Bids Due Mid-October

TheMaryland Department of Natural Resourcesis currently accepting bids for the 2018-2019 trapping season at severalwildlife management areason the Eastern Shore.

For each location, the individual with the highest bid will be awarded annual trapping privileges for the chosen site. Bidding for specific locations is done through different locations with different deadlines, as follows:

ForCedar Island,Deal Island,E. A. Vaughn,Fairmount,Isle of Wight,Johnson,Maryland Marine Properties,Pocomoke River,Pocomoke Sound,South MarshandWellingtonwildlife management areas, as well asJanes Island State Park, bid packages are to be picked up at Wellington Wildlife Management Area, located at 32733 Dublin Road, Princess Anne, andmustbe submitted by noon Oct. 16. Sealed bids will be opened at 1 p.m..

ForEllis Bay,Fishing Bay,Idylwild,LeCompte,Linkwood,Nanticoke River,Taylor’s IslandandWetipquinwildlife management areas, bid packages must be picked up at LeCompte Wildlife Management Area, located at 4220 Steele Neck Road, Vienna,and submitted by noon Oct. 17. Sealed bids will be opened at 1 p.m.
