State Highway Fishing Creek Bridge Update – The State Highway Administration (SHA) notified the Town that the previously announced construction start date of March 27th is now moved to mid April due to further work on low voltage lines within the area.The Town will provide an updated notice as soon as more information is available.
 

March 22 – 9:00 AM-9:00 PM. Clean Water Day @ Northeast Community Center. Join in raising awareness of the importance of clean water through a bottled water drive to distribute to those in need. For more information, click here .
 

March 22 –  CHEF’S CHOICE DINNER. Yum is the word for this informal dinner hosted by the American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206(Venturing Crew 429) from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  Come to the lower level dining room for a meal you won’t soon forget.  Cost is $12 including side, salad, and beverage.  The Post is at 3330 Chesapeake Beach Road East on Route 260 in Chesapeake Beach and questions may be directed to (410)257-9878.   Public Welcome.  HTTP://www.ALpost206 .

March  30 – MOTOWN NIGHT   What’s your favorite tune?  The Sons of the American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206 will host a night with music by DJ Stephen Varney beginning at 7:30 p.m. until 11:30. April 7 from 1-3pm. FREE ANNUAL EASTER FESTIVAL presented by the Town of Chesapeake Beach, Chesapeake Beach Waterpark, and the Calvert County Department of Parks and Recreation Northern District. June 15 from 5 pm – 7 pm Bayfront Park Nature Walk & Talk Series: Coastal Geology of Calvert Cliffs and Bayfront Park Beach.  Join Chesapeake Beach’s own Dr. Ken Rasmussen, Professor of Geology and Oceanography at Northern Virginia Community College, as he describes the ancient past recorded in our stretch of Calvert Cliffs, and the dynamic modern-day forces that continue to shape them today. Event suitable for ages 13+, minors must be accompanied by responsible adult. No pets please. The event is free but registration is required as group size will be limited to 15 people.
