On March 18th, Dfc. O’Donnell responded to Sakura Japanese Steakhouse in Prince Frederick for the report of harassment and damaged property. The victim stated they were being harassed by the suspect via telephone messages after repeatedly being told to cease communication. The suspect then arrived at the victim’s work and was seen writing on their car windows with white paint.
Dfc. O’Donnell placed the suspect, John Hampton Fore III (47), under arrest and transported him to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Malicious Destruction of Property Value Less than $1,000, Harassment, and Stalking.
On March 19, 2019 Dfc. Mohler conducted a traffic stop in the area of Clubhouse Drive and Rousby Hall Road in Lusby. While making contact with the driver, Nathaniel Lee Davis III (28), Dfc. Mohler detected a faint odor of raw marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a mason jar containing four large Ziploc bags of suspected marijuana, weighing approximately 50.5 grams.
The search also revealed a multi colored glass smoking device and a digital scale with suspect marijuana residue. Davis was subsequently arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession with Intent to Distribute, CDS: Possession of Marijuana 10 grams or more, and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.
On March 21st, 2019 Deputy Grierson conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Solomons Island Road and Lore Road in Solomons. A K9 scan of the vehicle resulted in a positive alert. A search of the vehicle revealed a mason jar of suspected marijuana which weighed approximately 36 grams.
The driver, Lanny Wayne Chapman II (26), was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession of Marijuana 10 Grams or more.
