Leonardtown, MD- The Southern Maryland Chronicle received word this morning from a few readers that the Dialysis Center in Leonardtown, Md contacted them regarding a water main break in the area.

The Southern Maryland Chronicle reached out to the Fresenius Kidney Care Leonardtown, and was told by the person who answered the phone that they are not allowed to discuss whether or not it is affecting them.

We reached out to The Town of Leonardtown and were informed there is a water main break on private property that is being repaired at this time.

This message was received from The Town of Leonardtown via Facebook Messenger:

“We were informed this morning that a water break occurred. This break is located on private property just behind the Subway located in Leonardtown Center. We contacted the owner who then contacted Bay County, who are now on site and are working diligently to make the repairs as quickly as possible. At this time we do not have an estimate on how long this will take nor when service will resume. Best we can do is ask that you check back with us in hour or two for another status. “

” We also have Town staff working along side to help facilitate as fast repair as possible. “
