Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) recognizes Child Nutrition Employee Appreciation Week this year as May 6-10. Child Nutrition Employee Appreciation Week celebrates the contributions of food and nutrition service workers and their supportive role to the school system, students and staff.
During the past school year, food and nutrition service staff have served more than 2.4 million lunches and 1.8 million breakfasts to students. Accepting the resolution at the Board meeting was William Kreuter and Crystal Richardson, CCPS food and nutrition services supervisors.
Board of Education Member Tajala Battle-Lockhart presented the resolution on behalf of the Board.
