Molina entered in the second inning and earned his second straight win over the Squirrels by holding Richmond (11-21) to one hit over seven scoreless innings. The righty walked a pair and struck out three batters, retiring all but four Richmond hitters until the game was called after the top of the eighth inning.

Bowie tacked on a third run in the fourth inning to increase their lead to 3-0. Preston Palmeiro lifted a sacrifice fly to deep left-center field to easily score Martin Cervenka, who walked and advanced to third base on a Zach Jarrettdouble. The RBI is the first baseman’s fifth in the first two games of the series against Richmond and 10th overall in 2019.
