PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – June 27, 2019– The 2018 Drinking Water Quality Report is now available for customers of the Calvert County Department of Public Works, Water and Sewerage Division. Citizens are encouraged to review the annual report, which contains important information about the source and quality of drinking water.

The Drinking Water Quality Report is a customer confidence report released yearly in accordance with the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. The report details where Calvert County’s public drinking water comes from and what it contains using data compiled during the most recent calendar year.

Calvert County operates multiple public water systems with over 5,000 residential, institutional, industrial and commercial customers throughout the county. With thorough water testing and treatment, the Water and Sewerage Division continues to provide citizens with drinking water that meets or exceeds state and federal drinking water standards.

The report is available online Citizens may request a paper report mailed to their home by calling 410-535-1600, ext. 2329 or 2554.
