News Release, Calvert Hospice

Prince Frederick, MD – Calvert Hospice is pleased to provide educational seminars to our community. Attendees will learn about topics that impact end-of-life care for patients and their families. Sessions are designed to encourage group discussion. Our next seminar is entitled Caregiver Resources for the Southern Maryland Community and will be held on August 13, 2019, from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Calvert Hospice will provide refreshments. The seminar is free.

The location for this educational seminar will be SpringHill Suites (75 Sherry Lane) in Prince Frederick.

Presenter: Amy Boucher, Aging Social Services Maryland Access Point Coordinator

Ms. Boucher will discuss services available through the local Area Agency on Aging, which serves the aging community, those living with a disability, and their caregivers. Learn about: Maryland Access Point, Information and Assistance, Long-Term Care Ombudsman, National Caregiver Support Program, Medicaid Funded Long-Term Support Services, and more. This will be an interactive presentation, designed so that attendees can ask questions about navigating services.
