During the week of August 19 – 25 deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,355 calls for service throughout the community.

Damaged Property: 19-49154-On August 23, 2019, Deputy Lewis responded to the Sheriff’s Office for the report of the damaged property. The complainant advised sometime between August 14th and 15than unknown suspect(s) damaged his mailbox on Ball Road in St. Leonard. The estimated value of the damaged property is $20-50.

Damaged Property: 19-49196-On August 23, 2019, Deputy Burggraff responded to Commanche Road in Lusby for the report of the damaged property. The complainant advised an unknown suspect(s) shot his house multiple times with a paintball gun. The estimated value of the damaged property is $50.

Damaged Property: 19-49347-On August 24, 2019, Deputy Lewis responded to Hunt Court in Huntingtown for the report of the damaged property. The complainant advised on August 14th an unknown suspect(s) poured gasoline into the diesel tank of his truck causing $11,000 in damage to the fuel system. On August 23rd an unknown suspect spray painted “wes got gas mf” on the side of his trailer. No structural damage was caused to the trailer.

Damaged Property: 19-49381-On August 24, 2019, Deputy Hardesty responded to Vista Lane in Lusby for the report of the damaged property. The complainant advised an unknown suspect(s) broke the post of his mailbox at the ground, removed the mailbox from the post and threw it into the woods about 20 feet away.

Theft: 19-48656-On August 18, 2019, Deputy Anderson responded to Southern Pine Lane in Port Republic for a series of damaged mailboxes. On August 20th Deputy Burggraff responded to Southern Pine Lane for another victim of the same incident. The complainant advised his mailbox was damaged and multiple packages were missing that had been delivered to his house. The value of the stolen packages is approximately $40 and the damaged mailbox is worth approximately $50.

Theft: 19-48444-On August 19, 2019, Deputy Sturdivant responded to the Sheriff’s Office for the report of a theft. The complainant advised sometime between August 17th and August 19th at 6:00 PM an unknown suspect(s) entered her vehicle on Foxwood Lane in Lusby and stole money, her social security card, a Wawa gift card, and an old driver’s license.

Theft: 19-49092-On August 23, 2019, Deputy Burggraff responded to the parking lot of Lusby Towne Square for the report of a theft. The complainant advised sometime between August 22nd and 23rdan unknown suspect stole the rear tag from her vehicle.

Theft: 19-49111-On August 23, 2019, Deputy Burggraff responded to Thunderbird Drive in Lusby for the report of a theft. The complainant advised sometime between August 22nd at 6:30 PM and August 23rd at 8:00 AM an unknown suspect(s) entered his vehicle and stole loose change. The value of the stolen property is approximately $6.

Theft: 19-49424-On August 24, 2019, Deputy Savick responded to Walmart in Prince Frederick for the report of a theft. The complainant advised around 6:00 PM an unknown suspect(s) stole her wallet and her son’s shirt from her son’s stroller that was left unattended while she shopped.
