FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) has announced its weekly awards following the fourth week of the 2019 men’s soccer season. St. Mary’s College senior forward Khalid Balogun earned the CAC Offensive Player of the Week honor for the third time this season.

Balogun led the Seahawks on the offensive end with a total of seven points between two games. The Bowie, Maryland native netted three goals and tallied one assist in a week where the Seahawks played to a 1-1 tie at Swarthmore and collected a dominating 6-0 victory at DeSales. Balogun now leads the Capital Athletic Conference with 11 goals and 25 points this season. 

The Seahawk men’s soccer team currently sits at 6-0-1 on the year and will be back in action on Wednesday (Sept. 25) when they host nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins University at Jamie L. Roberts Stadium. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
