November 6, 2019 (Wednesday), 6:30 – 7:30 pm, Chesapeake Beach Town Hall.  Mom’s Big Year — We’ve all got ‘something’, right? Something that’s happened in the past or something that is currently in our lives that we carry with us every single day. Perhaps it’s an ill family member, a struggle with addiction, the death of a loved one, … It’s what we do with that and how we think about that ‘something’… , that makes us who we are and sets the tenor for our day-to-day being. I’m a mom, who’s got ‘something’.   Join inspirational speaker Nancy McAllister to learn how she used nature and a passion for birds to begin her journey of healing after a family tragedy. Come hear her many wonderful, heartwarming stories as she juggled life, work, and family while using a “Big Year” birding adventure to heal, renew, and rediscover herself.
