Leonardtown, MD- Defendant Flor Cruz (D.O.B. 12/31/1975) was sentenced to thirty days of active incarceration for driving a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and causing a disturbance in public while intoxicated.

Cruz was arrested on July July 28, 2019, by Maryland State Police Trooper First Class Allison Oyler. Cruz was charged with Driving a motor vehicle while impaired, intoxicated public disturbance, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Buffy Giddens prosecuted the case. According to case search, Cruz was found guilty of the Intoxicated Public Disturbance charge, while the other charges were Nolle Prosequi(charges dropped)

Cruz was given an additional 120 days(6 months) time while being on two years of supervised Probation with the Maryland Department of Parole and Probation once released from incarceration.
