On December 22, 2019, Deputy Barger responded to Woodland Way in Owings for a burglary. The complainant advised that the suspect was beating on the front door demanding entry. Upon arrival, Deputy Barger observed Deputy T. Buckler with the suspect, Brandon Angelo Goncalves (24), on the front porch of the residence.

Upon making contact with Goncalves, Deputies detected the strong odor of alcohol emanating from Goncalves, he became disorderly, and Goncalves was placed in to custody. Goncalves was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Intoxicated Endangerment, and Malicious Destruction of Property Valued <$1.000.  


On December 22, 2019, Deputy S. Naughton responded to Buckets Sports Bar in Lusby to assist Deputy Rzepkowski with crowd control. A short time after arriving, Deputy Naughton observed a male, Desam Neri Stewart (49), enter the DJ booth and begin to play loud music on and off multiple times before Deputy Rzepkowski advised him to turn the music off and pack up. Stewart ignored Deputies’ multiple commands to pack up his equipment and was unable to answer questions he was asked.

Deputies detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from Stewarts’ person and observed him be heavily intoxicated. Stewart began to act disorderly and became argumentative and combative with law enforcement. Deputies placed Stewart under arrest and transported him to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Disorderly Conduct.


On December 22, 2019, Deputy Boerum responded to Walters Lane in Prince Frederick for the report of the damaged property. Upon arrival, Deputy Boerum made contact with Maxim Nicholas Bartlett (21), who was sitting in the driveway of his residence and was emanating a very strong odor of alcohol from his person.

Deputy Boerum made contact with a female inside the residence who advised Bartlett got drunk and punched and kicked holes in multiple walls and multiple bedrooms. She advised Bartlett also ripped off two bedrooms doors and broke them in half, as well as caused damage to a garage door requiring it to be replaced. The total value of the damaged property is $13,500. Bartlett was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Malicious Destruction of Property Valued $1,000+, Disorderly Conduct, and Intoxicated Public Disturbance.
