During the week of December 9 – December 15 deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,388 calls for service throughout the community.

Damaged Property: 19-72779

On December 16, 2019, Deputy Payne responded to Penny Lane in Sunderland for the report of damaged property. The complainant advised that an unknown suspect(s) had removed one of the AC units from the window of the residence damaging it, as well as four glass windows that had been broken along the side of the residence. The total value of the damaged property is $450.

Theft: 19-72686

On December 16, 2019, Deputy Freeland responded to the Shell gas station in Lusby for the report of a theft. The complainant advised that they were scheduled to repair an air compressor at the gas station that had been damaged. The complainant advised an unknown suspect(s) had opened the air compressor and stole the coin collector from the machine. The value of the damaged property is $600 and the value of the stolen property is $300.

On December 17, 2019, Deputy Freeland responded to Lake Drive in Lusby for the report of a theft. The complainant advised than an unknown suspect(s) stole a white in color, a wooden sign reading “Community Meeting Drum Point Club House”. The value of the stolen property is $100.

Theft: 19-73067

On December 18, 2019, Deputy Hardesty responded to St. Leonard Road in St. Leonard for the report of a theft and destruction of property. The complainant advised that they were scheduled to repair a damaged air compressor at the Fastop in St. Leonard. Upon arrival, the complainant observed the machine to be broken into, and the quarters missing from inside. The value of the damaged property is $6,000 and the value of the stolen property is $300.

Theft: 19-73368

On December 19, 2019, Deputy R. Evans responded to Yuma Trail in Lusby for the report of a theft. The complainant advised that sometime between December 3rd and December 19th, an unknown suspect(s) stole their 2019 Towmaster trailer that was parked at Running Hare Vineyard. The value of the stolen property is $9,000.

Theft: 19-73658

On December 21, 2019, Deputy R. Shrawder responded to San Angelo Court in Lusby for the report of a theft that occurred at Giant in Lusby. The complainant advised that they lost their iPhone XR at Giant, and when they went back to look for it, it was gone. The value of the stolen property is $800.

Theft: 19-73722

On December 21, 2019, Deputy Anderson responded to Williams Wharf Road in St. Leonard for the report of a theft. The complainant advised that sometime between 5:05 pm and 5:12 pm on December 19th an unknown male suspect driving a black Ford F-150 was seen parking next to the complainant’s work truck, exiting their vehicle, and approaching the complainant’s truck where they removed the truck’s trailer hitch and leaves the scene. The value of the stolen property is $200.
