UPDATE 1/20/2020 2:00 pm.- Per the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office notification system, Route 235 is now reopened to traffic Expect delays as traffic clears out.
California MD- The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Services have responded to a motor vehicle crash at Route 235 and Maple Road. There is no additional information at this time.
The northbound side of Route 235 is currently closed to all traffic. Police are asking drivers to find an alternate route for at least the next hour.
Watch for emergency vehicles and personnel. Expect extreme delays in the area.
