On January 29th, 2020, Deputy Rzepkowski responded to E Chesapeake Beach Road in Owings for a warrant service. Nathaniel Jon Aikin (26) was taken into custody by Anne Arundel County Police Department for an active warrant in Calvert County.
Deputy Rzepkowski took custody of Aikin and was advised by Aikin that he had two of his prescribed pills in his pocket, however, the prescription was left in his vehicle in Anne Arundel County. Aikin was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was served with his warrants and charged with CDS: Possession- Not Marijuana.
On January 30, 2020, Corporal McCarroll was conducting a routine patrol check in the area of the Dunkirk Park & Ride when he observed a suspicious vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle, Corporal McCarroll observed the vehicle to be running, and Charles Anthony Fortner (20) asleep in the driver’s seat.
He also observed numerous items of suspected marijuana and related CDS paraphernalia. Fortner was removed from the vehicle and detained while deputies recovered a clear plastic bag containing suspected marijuana, loose flakes of suspected marijuana, two burnt portions of suspected marijuana cigarettes, and a glass smoking device. Fortner was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession of Marijuana 10GM+ and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.
On January 31, 2020, Deputy Aranda responded to Dunn Clean Laundry in Prince Frederick for the report of harassment. The complainant advised that a male suspect would not leave them alone while trying to do laundry. Upon arrival, Deputy Aranda observed Marvin Wayne Thomas (53) sitting by the door of the laundromat. Upon making contact with Thomas, Deputy Aranda observed Thomas to be extremely intoxicated and detected the odor of alcohol emanating from his breath.
Calvert County Emergency Communications advised that Thomas was issued an indefinite trespass warning for the entire Prince Frederick Shopping Center on January 16, 2018, by Maryland State Trooper Costello. Thomas was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Trespassing a Public Agency During Business Hours.
On January 31, 2020, Deputy Sampson conducted a traffic stop on North Solomons Island Road at Cox Road in Huntingtown. Deputy Sampson made contact with the driver, Joseph Charles Guidotti (37), who advised he did not have a driver’s license in his possession. Guidotti exited to the vehicle to observe the reason for the traffic stop when he reached to his hip revealing a large tactical knife that was concealed by his jacket. Guidotti was then detained and the other passengers were removed from the vehicle while a search was conducted.
The search resulted in a total of 515 grams of raw marijuana, 501 THC cartridges, 38 pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes, and $3,067 in cash. Guidotti was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute, CDS: Possession of Marijuana 10GM+, Dangerous Weapon-Concealed, and traffic citations.
