During the week of March 23 – March 29 deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,008 calls for service throughout the community.

Burglary: 20-16905

On March 28, 2020, Deputy Gough responded to Cove Point Road in Lusby for the report of a burglary. The complainant advised that around 9:30 pm, an unknown suspect(s) attempted to steal a four-wheeler and a dirt bike sitting outside their shed, but when the complainant approached the shed, the suspect fled on foot into Cove Point Park.

Damaged Property: 20-16551

On March 26, 2020 Deputy Plant responded to Main Street in Prince Frederick for a burglary in progress. The complainant advised that they heard glass breaking in the residence next door, and then observed two male suspects flee the area through the woods. Deputy Plant observed several broken windows to the side and rear of the residence. The value of damaged property is $500.  

Theft: 20-16044

On March 23, 2020, Deputy W. McDowell took a report of a theft that occurred on Silver Rock Road in Lusby. The complainant advised that sometime between 6:00pm on March 22nd and 12:30am on March 23rd, an unknown suspect(s) stole their Ambrose Disposable garbage can from the driveway. The value of stolen property is $75.

Theft: 20-16113

On March 23, 2020, Deputy Kwitowski took a report of a theft that occurred at Weis Market in Lusby. The complainant advised that sometime between 4:00am and 8:30am on March 23rd, an unknown suspect(s) stole the rear tag from their work van while it was parked in the parking lot. The value of stolen property is $25.
