News Release, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices  McNelis Group Properties

Solomons, MD. – Virtually Possible. Since Governor Hogan’s original stay-at-home order, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices McNelis Group Properties began developing and then quickly executed plans to assist consumers with their real estate needs from a safe distance. “It’s an unusual time to conduct real estate business and we are determined to make the process accessible and safe.” shared Chris McNelis, Broker/Owner. Physical office spaces became less of a focus for daily operations as the company complied with government direction and prepared to make all things real estate, “virtually possible.”

Thanks to the dedicated, knowledgeable, and professional REALTORS® and staff at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices McNelis Group Properties, the transition to physically distant operations has ensured the delivery of high-quality service while minimizing possible exposure to the novel coronavirus.

Beyond looking at their consumers as a part of a transaction, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices McNelis Group Properties noticed there was a need for genuine community interaction that would be uplifting during these challenging times. They established a public Facebook Group called Show Us Yours. Chris McNelis remarked, “We all want easy, friendly, and caring right now. We want to lighten the mood, bring happiness and joy and be a safe place for people to come together and share their thoughts and ideas.”

The overall goal is to instill a sense of protection while developing relationships within the Southern Maryland community during a time of uncertainty. The group began on April 23rd and by this press release, has over 1,200 members that post daily photos and videos based off suggested themes. If you are looking to add more positivity and connectivity to your social news feed, click to join and Show Us Yours.
