LEONARDTOWN, MD – July 24, 2020.-Congratulations to Assistant State’s Attorney Kevin R. Hill who was appointed by the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland to the Peer Review Committee. Mr. Hill will serve a 2-year term ending on June 30, 2022.

“The Committee sits in panel format of at least two attorneys and one non-attorney member with one attorney member designated as Panel Chair. The Panel considers the Statement of Charges and all relevant information presented by Bar Counsel and the attorney concerning it, determines whether there is a substantial basis that the attorney has committed professional misconduct or is incapacitated, and makes a recommendation to the Attorney Grievance Commission in accordance with Maryland Rule 19-720(e).”

Mr. Hill is Chief of the Child Support Division, prosecutor for the St. Mary’s Substance Abuse Recovery Court, and heads the Project Gradation Program. His current appointments include the Maryland Trial Courts Judicial Nomination Commission District 12 for Calvert and St. Mary’s County, as well as the St. Mary’s County Family Violence Coordinating Council.
