Whippany, NJ – August 13, 2020 – On Wednesday, August 12th, Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. (NYSE: SPH), a nationwide distributor of propane, fuel oil and related products and services, as well as a marketer of natural gas and electricity, delivered the next batch of the 1,000 total pizzas along with Baltimore Orioles-branded, limited-edition cans of Pepsi, to MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD. This effort is part of Suburban Propane’s ‘SuburbanCares’ platform, which provides assistance in communities it serves across the nation.

For each of the first 1,000 pizza orders placed with the promotional code GIVEPIZZA at any of the 160 participating Papa John’s locations in the D.C. Metro area and Maryland, Suburban Propane is donating one large, one-topping pizza to healthcare workers at MedStar Health hospitals throughout the area.

To date, pizzas and Pepsi have been delivered to frontline workers at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD; MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, MD; MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, MD; and MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD.

The company has also partnered with Jersey Mike’s Subs to deliver meals to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ; with Aurelio’s Pizza in Chicago, IL to provide meals to a nationally-ranked hospital in downtown Chicago; and with Chick-fil-A in Syracuse, NY to provide meals to frontline workers at Crouse Health.
