Annapolis, MD – On Wednesday, September 2 at 12:00PM, the Joint Committee on Fair Practices and State Personnel Oversight will hold its second hearing on the Maryland Environmental Service’s (MES) Personnel and Board Practices and Policies. These hearings stem from payouts to former Chief of Staff to Governor Larry Hogan, Roy McGrath.
Testifying before the Committee tomorrow will be former MES Deputy Director & Interim Director, Ms. Beth Wojton. Mr. McGrath was invited to attend before the Joint Committee and declined through counsel. T
he Joint Committee also invited former MES Director of Operations & Strategic Partnerships Matthew Sherring, but he has not responded to the committee’s request to appear.
