
On Tuesday, Nov. 14, the Board of Commissioners toured the African American Heritage House (7485 Crain Highway, La Plata), which serves as a museum and educational center. The African American Heritage Society of Charles County, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a dedicated mission to foster public awareness and understanding of the African American way of life.
