CFC Andrew Hunt, today was named Correctional Officer of the Quarter for the Fourth Quarter of 2017.
Detention Center Director Brandon Foster presented the citation, with Sheriff Berry, Chief of Staff Phil Hinkle, Assistant Sheriffs Dave Saunders and Brian Eley, and Deputy Director Debbie Dofflemyer present, along with CFC Hunt’s team and many others from the CCDC.
CFC Hunt was nominated by Sgt. John Arcadipane for his initiative and dedication in several areas. “During the fourth quarter of 2017, CFC Hunt demonstrated great professionalism and initiative in keeping with the highest standards of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Division,” said Sgt. Arcadipane. “He has continually devised solutions to problems in an effort to enhance safety, security, and efficiency of operations.”
CFC Hunt is the Emergency Response Team (ERT) Leader for Team 1. “He has demonstrated excellent verbal de-escalation skills time and again. He performs exceptionally well under stress when handling emergency situations. His tactfulness, awareness, and level of safety consciousness are commendable.”
