In late February, St. Mary’s Ryken fine arts students auditioned to compete for seats in the Washington Archdiocesan Music Teachers Council Honors Orchestra. Pictured below, Demetrius Poole, ’20, Julia Hetmansky, ’19 and Sean Alderson, ’20 made the violin 1 section.
It is a very prestigious honor for students to be selected. According to the WAMTC, “selected students represent the finest musicians from the Archdiocesan affiliated high schools.”
The concert was held on Saturday, February 24.
