Community Events & OpportunitiesVolunteer Opportunities: CSM LEGO Robotics Competition & AUVSI Student CompetitionCSM LEGO Robotics Competition Setup: April 6 | Competition: April 7 Volunteer referees and judges are needed for the CSM LEGO Robotics Competition, as well as volunteers for many other positions. Morning only, afternoon only, and full-day positions are available. ——– AUVSI Student Competition at Webster Field June 14 – 16 Judges are a critical part of the competition, and we are once again looking for volunteers. There are various levels of commitment, including the evaluation of the technical papers, evaluation of the Flight Readiness Review Video, and of course, the actual flight competition! Crab Pot Pitch Competition Speed RoundApril 12, 6:00 p.m. Time for the 4th annual Crabpot Pitch Competition! Be sure to attend to cheer on our Southern Maryland entrepreneurs as they pitch their businesses and innovative ideas. The Speed Round Qualifiers will be 90-second pitches from all our contestants with only one slide. The 5 contestants with the most audience votes will move on to the Crabpot Finals in May. The event is open to all middle school girls in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties for hands-on, fun, and challenging STEM activities with STEM role models from the community.
