Calvert County Public Schools is partnering with the Calvert County Heritage Committee to sponsor the Calvert County Heritage Annual Photo Competition. The contest supports student and community awareness of the historical and cultural heritage of Calvert County.
Dr. Daniel D. Curry, Superintendent, said, “This photo contest is an opportunity for students to explore the county’s history through art. We are happy to partner with the Heritage Committee to sponsor it.”
Students in grades 4-12 are eligible to enter and will be judged in separate junior (grades 4-8) and senior (grades 9-12) divisions. Three prizes will be awarded in each division: $75 for first place, $50 for second place, $25 for third place.

Photos are due to Cecelia Lewis, Supervisor of Social Studies, at the Calvert County Public Schools central office no later than May 21, 2018.
