The Board of Education recognized School Library Month and our media leaders nominated for the MASL (Maryland Association of School Librarians) Librarian of the Year award. For 2018, SMCPS had three nominees out of twelve statewide: Brenda Hager(Leonardtown HS), Rachel Harmon (Piney Point ES), and April Wathen (GW Carver ES), who was also a finalist.
