Maribeth Ganzell, St. Mary’s College club sports trainer and coordinator, is the featured artist in the St. Mary’s County Arts Council exhibition currently showing at the Lexington Park Library in Lexington Park, Md. The show, titled “Life Without Target,” features Ganzell’s original photographs from West Africa.

While living in The Gambia, Ganzell integrated herself into the culture. The relationships she developed while working in the hospital, becoming part of a Gambian family, and taking workshops with local artists helped inspire her photography. Those photographs are now available for viewing at the exhibition, which runs through mid-May.
