The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners honored Correctional Deputy First Class (CDFC) Joseph Sutton Jr. for dedicating 35 years of faithful service to Calvert County and wished him well in his retirement. CDFC Sutton began working as a correctional officer for the county in December 1982 and was promoted to CDFC in 2006.
Not only has CDFC Sutton demonstrated commendable and distinguished service to Calvert County, but he has spent years providing CPR and first aid instruction to many organizations and churches throughout the tri-county area. His steadfast commitment to improving the community is admirable and the board thanked CDFC Sutton for his devotion to serving the public. Thank you and congratulations on retirement Joseph!
