Hollywood, MD May 9, 2018: The Office of the State Fire Marshal is currently investigating a home in Hollywood, MD. Yesterday, afternoon the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department responded to Peninsular Drive for a Two-Story, single family home on fire that was called in by a neighbor. Fifty firefighters battled the blaze for roughly 45 minutes.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal has investigated and lists the preliminary cause as “Incendiary” and “Multiple points of origin”. The Fire Marshal reports states charges are pending in the case. The estimated loss of the home is valued at $350,000.00.
