Summer Concert

Drivin’ Muzzy –
Performing May 25 from 7 pm to 9 pm

Drivin’ Muzzy is a new age country band who covers the likes of Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Brantley Gilbert as well as performing our own originals. The band has played with such acts like Josh Thompson, Eric Paslay and Frankie Ballard.

Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for sitting. Coolers are allowed, but no alcohol, please. Concessions are available from the Town’s food trailer located in the back of the parking lot; an ice cream truck is stationed there for your enjoyment. A play area for children, the Kids’ Zone, allows parents to enjoy the concert while keeping an eye on the little ones.

Please note military concerts are usually about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes
due to their regulations.

Trash Schedule Adjustments

The La Plata Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The market is located behind the Charles County Courthouse in the parking lot on the north side of Talbot St. on Wednesdays and in the parking lot on the south side of Talbot St. on Saturdays.
