Ms. Zerbe is a special education teacher in the Structured Learning Environment program at Calvert Middle School, where she has worked for the past four years. Her 11 years with CCPS include teaching in the same program at Southern Middle and in the Behavior Development Programs at Plum Point Middle School and Mill Creek Middle School.
Ms. Zerbe is a wonderful teacher who has grown into a teacher leader at Calvert Middle School. She is a data-driven teacher who now leads the behavior data team at CMS.
She recently prepared and presented a presentation to the staff on our school data. Ms. Zerbe also seeks out opportunities for her own growth and is always willing to come back and share her knowledge with others.
She is a perfect mentor teacher and always helps her colleagues with various tasks. She shows tremendous dedication to her students, organizing the Best Buddies program with them, and promoting autism awareness throughout the school.
