IMPORTANT NOTICE:  The Town expects the boardwalk from 14th and B street to 11th and B street (or the Bayfront Park B Street entrance) to be closed for the next 60 days. The Town needs to be assured that the soil above the boardwalk is stable prior to any repairs taking place on the boardwalk. Residents should be aware that the areas that are blocked off to the public are done so for safety and should not attempt to pass them. Thank you for your patience as we ensure the public’s safety.
2018 Moonlight Cruises – The Town of Chesapeake Beach invites you to spend a summer evening cruising aboard “Miss Lizzy,” docked at Rod ‘N’ Reel Marina. Miss Lizzy is sixty-five feet long and carries 65 passengers.  We are offering two cruise dates for Summer 2018; Saturday, June 16(CANCELLED)Friday, July 20 from 7:30 – 9:30 pm and Friday, August 25 from 7 – 9 pm. The cost is $32 per person.   Although children are welcome, these cruises are more suited for adults. The Waterpark is looking for Lifeguards – The Chesapeake Beach Water Park is currently hiring Lifeguards for the 2018 Season. Being a Lifeguard at the CBWP is a wonderful way to spend your summer and we offer Lifeguard certifications through our Water Park. All Lifeguards must be 15 years old by May 26, 2018. POSTPONED — June 2, 5 pm – 7 pm – Bayfront Park Nature Walk & Talk Series: The Coastal Geology of Calvert Cliffs and Bayfront Park Beach(rain date, June 3, 5 – 7 pm) — Join Chesapeake Beach’s own Dr. Ken Rasmussen, Professor of Geology at Northern Virginia Community College, as he describes the dynamic geological forces that formed the cliffs and continues to shape them to this day. Saturday, June 9, from 9 AM – 4 PM – End Hunger Dragon Boat Festival.  Come out and support our Town of Chesapeake Beach Team at the North Beach Boardwalk.
