From Principal Becky Bowen: Mill Creek Middle School is proud to have Jen Murphy as their Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Murphy teaches 8th grade math and is pretty amazing at her job. Kids are not only learning in her classroom; they are also having fun!
Whether it’s applying statistics to Fantasy Football or using manipulatives to balance equations, you can rest assured that her students are learning math.
On any given day, you will find Mrs. Murphy working with kids beyond class time – including students who aren’t even in her classroom. Not only is Mrs. Murphy a phenomenal teacher, she also offers her services as a yearbook coordinator and the National Junior Honor Society sponsor.
Come to our dances, where you will see her handing out pizza to kids or at our basketball games taking care of the clock. Mill Creek is truly blessed to have Mrs. Murphy as a teacher!
