Tuesday:

Thursday:

  • St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks Board June meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with a tour of the St. Mary’s Gymnastics Center facility, located at 21770-A FDR Blvd. in Great Mills. Saturday:

  • Leonardtown Rotary Paddle for Heroes Kayak & Paddleboard Race. The event not only raises scholarship money for First Responders and their families but also military personnel to attend the Warfighter Advance 7-Day Post-combat Reintegration Program.   • Blue and Gray Days. Experience living history events at Civil War sites around Point Lookout State Park, site of Point Lookout prisoner of war camp during the American Civil War.   • St. Mary’s County Crab Festival. The annual event is a celebration of St. Mary’s County crab culture and cooking. Steamed hard crabs, soft crabs, crab cakes, crab soups and other seafood dishes will be available for purchase. Car & bike show, regional crafters, live music, children’s activities.
