5 – 8 p.m.The Museum and Drum Point Lighthouse are open and FREE to the public. Enjoy entertainmentby Lydia Martin and Friendsstarting at6 p.m.in the Harms Gallery and FREE 30-minute cruises on theTennison. The Museum Store is open.

Sunday, July 8Dee of St. Mary’sPublic Sail

2:30 – 4:30 p.m.Sail on board theDeeand experience the Patuxent River like never before! The boat leaves from the museum dock. Fee is $25 for ages 13 and up, $15 for children 5 – 12. No children under 5 please. Preregistration required, call 410-326-2042 ext. 41 to register.

Tuesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 12– Sea Squirts

10 – 10:30 a.m.and11 – 11:30 a.m.Sharks!FREE drop-in program for children 18-months to 3 years and their caregivers.

Saturday, July 14– SHARKFEST!

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.Visit live sharks featured in the Corbin Pavilion. Participate in hands-on activities throughout the museum, make a shark-themed craft, and take a picture in the life-size jaws of a Megalodon shark. Slide down the jaws of a giant inflated shark sponsored by Tidewater Dental. Face painting ($5 fee). Build a shark out of LegosTMand tag #cmmlegoshark and #calvertmarinemuseum. Food and drink vendors will be on-site. Museum admission applies; members are FREE.

Tuesday, July 17– Story Time with Calvert Library Southern Branch

Friday, July 20– CMM Members Save 20%

10:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.Museum members enjoy a 20% discount in the Museum Store all day today and on the 20thof every month.

Saturday, July 21– Fossil Field Experience

9 a.m. – 2 p.m.Come explore the fossils of Calvert Cliffs with a trained museum educator. For ages 8 and up. Cost is $20 and includes museum admission. Space is limited; preregistration required. Call 410-326-2042, ext. 41 to register.

Thursday, July 26Little Minnows

10 – 11 a.m. A program for children age 3 – 5 and their caregivers. This month’s theme isSharks! No Bones About It!Fee is $5, members are FREE.

Saturday, July 28– Toy Boat Building

2 – 4 p.m.Make a toy boat in the Maritime History Hall with sessions starting on the half hour. $2 donation per boat requested. Museum admission required.

Saturday, July 28–Lighthouse Adventure Cruise

7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m.See five lighthouses aboard a private charter boat with the museum’s lighthouse expert. Preregistraton required. Call 410-326-2042, ext. 41 to register.
