Assault- On July 2, 2018, Cpl. Stone responded to the 46000 block of Columbus Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. The victim advised Marcus Isaiah Peterson, age 29 of Lexington Park, had assaulted the victim by shoving the victim on a couch, and scratching the victim in the face while the two were involved in an argument. Peterson was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 34912-18
Theft– On July 3, 2018, Dep. Bowie responded to Sheetz in Great Mills, for a reported theft. Investigation determined Angela Christine Herath, age 34 of Great Mills, attempted to steal a beverage and pastry. Herath was charged with Theft via a Criminal Citation. Assault- On July 3, 2018, DFC. J. Davis responded to the 23000 block of Old Pine Court in California, for a reported assault. The victim advised Ewin Theodore Verdict Jr. age 62 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by pinning the victim against a wall, and strangling the victim. The victim displayed visible signs of injury. Verdict Jr. was located, arrested, and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 35178-18
Violation of Protective Order- On July 3, 2018, Dep. Ball responded to the 26000 block of Fielding Road in Hollywood, for the reported disturbance. Investigation determined Regina Danielle Huff, age 42 of Hollywood, was the respondent in an active protective order, and was prohibited from being at the Fielding Road address. Huff was arrested and charged with Violate Exparte/Protective Order. CASE# 35203-18
Violation of Peace Order- On July 4, 2018, DFC. Muschette responded to the 44000 block of Deerfield Road in Leonardtown for a reported violation of a peace order. Investigation revealed Johnathan Albert Anderson, age 28 of Lexington Park, contacted the victim in violation of an active peace order. Anderson was located and charged with Violation of a Peace Order. CASE# 35330-18
Assault- On July 5, 2018, Dep. M. Beyer responded to the 21000 block of Mayfaire Lane in Lexington Park, for a reported disturbance. Investigation determined Thomas Wayne Beach Jr. age 24, of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by striking and scratching the victim. Beach Jr. was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. Violation of Protective Order- On July 5, 2018, DFC. Holdsworth responded to the 40000 block of Merchant’s Lane in Leonardtown for the reported violation of a protective order. Investigation determined Michael Douglas Mackenzie, age 23 of Mechanicsville, had violated a current protective order by contacting the victim in person. Mackenzie was arrested and charged with Violate Protective Order. CASE# 35383-18
