The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners recognized Park Maintenance Specialist II Charles “Potsie” Horsmon as the July Employee of the Month. He was lauded for his excellent work ethic, incredible attention to detail and efforts to continuously ensure that all parks and recreation services continue as normal despite obstacles.
Recently, Potsie was contacted by a baseball director about an upcoming tournament that was scheduled for an especially rainy weekend. He spent countless hours to ensure several, playable baseball fields were ready in time for the tournament. Potsie constantly goes above and beyond the call of duty while maintaining a positive demeanor. Congratulations on your award Potsie.
