The Seahawks collected 14 points, four points behind sixth-place Frostburg State University. Christopher Newport University was tabbed as the favorite by the league’s coaches as the Captains are predicted to win their fourth consecutive CAC title.

Last season, St. Mary’s notched three Top 5 finishes and placed seventh at the CAC Championships. This year’s edition of the Seahawks features a veteran group, including a five-man senior class. Headlining that class are senior captains James Judlick(Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall), Randy Larsen (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown), and Adam Scrivener (Prince Frederick, Md./Huntingtown).

Judlick was St. Mary’s top performer in five meets last season, including leading the Seahawks at the NCAA Mideast Regionals hosted by Dickinson College. Scrivener, junior Robbie Hamilton (Severn, Md./Meade), and sophomore Yoni Kamis (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda Chevy Chase) were consistent scorers last season.

The Seahawks begin the 2018 season on Saturday morning, at the Salisbury University Sea Gull Opener.
