Registration is open for Learn to Play Hockey!
Looking for a new fall/winter sport for your 5-9 year old child this year?
The Southern Maryland Sabres Hockey Club has teamed up with the Washington Capitals to bring the Learn to Play (HOCKEY) program back to the Capital Clubhouse, in Waldorf, starting December 1 at 9:35am!
This program provides head-to-toe hockey gear for new players, along with 8 weeks of on-ice instruction by USA Hockey certified coaches and Capitals Alumni for $170 (6 weeks of instruction alone is around $100 in the DMV area and first time hockey gear can be upwards of $230). Gear includes all the essentials – skates, stick, bag, helmet, and all safety pads, with a Washington Capitals logo jersey.
This initiative is an amazing and affordable way to introduce children to the game of hockey in a fun, safe environment. Watch the video to see why this program is such a great opportunity in our area!
