PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – Sept. 13, 2018 – The Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation has rescheduled the “Fall Extravaganza – A Doggone Good Time!” event set for Friday, Sept. 14, due to inclement weather. The event is now scheduled for Friday, Oct. 12 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. This free family-friendly event will be held at the Southern Community Center located at 20 Appeal Lane in Lusby. Come out for a performance and meet-and-greet with National Stunt Dog Champion Beasley, star of TV commercials and resident of Lusby with his trainer, Chrissy Joy. The canine capers continue with a K-9 demonstration from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office. Stick around for a moon bounce, face painting, balloon art, snow cones, contests and much more. Pizza will be available for $1 per slice while supplies lasts.
