UPDATE 8:00 a.m.- The Maryland State Police; La Plata(MSP-La Plata) are investigating a fatal crash that involves a pedestrian. More information will be released by MSP-La Plata. Per MSP-La Plata Leonardtown Road at Forest Park Drive has been reopened.
Charles County, MD- The Charles County Notification System has notified the community that Route 5 is closed at Renner Road and Forest Park Dr(Southbound) for an accident. Find an alternative route and expect heavy delays in the area.
