“Turn the Beach Pink”–In support of the “Real Men Wear Pink” fight against breast cancer our“Twin Beach Deputies” will be working throughoutNorth and Chesapeake Beach during the month of October to collect donations. This is the first year that Calvert County has hosted a “Real Men Wear Pink” contest. Thanks go out to our Chesapeake Beach Restaurants (including Abner’s, Mamma Lucia’s, Rod ‘N’ Reel and Trader’s) for their fund-raising efforts on October 24th when they offered food, drink specials, raffles, fun and a chance for you to do your part in the fight against this terrible disease. They will all be donating a percentage of their profits for this great cause.
