UPDATE January 14, 2019: The Office of the State Fire Marshal was called to investigate the house fire in Lusby , MD on Saturday morning. THe Fire Marshal report states twenty-five firefighters responded and had the blaze under control in fifteen minutes.

The Fire Marshal reports the home was completely destroyed and estimates the loss at $125,000(structure) and $25,000(contents).

The preliminary cause and area of origin is still under investigation.

Lusby, MD- Prince Frederick Crews responded to an early morning fire on Cheyenne Lane in Chesapeake Ranch Estates(Lusby, MD).The Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department(PVFD) says they have two units currently on the scene of a single family home, fully involved.

At this time we do not know how many personal other than PVFD who are on the scene.Watch for emergency crews.
