100% of proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic

ARLINGTON, Va. – Select Capitals players and their significant others participated in the third-consecutive “Wish Upon A Par” on Jan. 13 at Top Golf Loudoun in Ashburn, Va. Coordinated by Brooks and Erin Orpik, the event raised more than $100,000 for Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic.

Wish Upon A Par offered fans the chance to bid to spend time with a favorite player or purchase tickets to attend. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic.

Nearly 200 Capitals fans and wish kids enjoyed golf and gaming with select players.

General and VIP ticket packages were available, featuring three and a half hours of play, food, access to a silent auction and additional activities. The VIP package also included access to a pre-event meet and greet with players.

In addition, fans also bid on the opportunity to play a round of Topgolf with select Capitals players. The package also included unlimited food with beer and wine, access to the silent auction and more.
