Do ya think your 10 year challenge game is strong? Well, Zombieland is trying to take it up a notch with their Twitter post, and official announcement, for the sequal to the popular first film. According to the poster, the film will be called Zombieland : Double Tap.

The new film will see a return of the four main actors of the first film: Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin. The first poster for the film was revealed alongside the original 2009 film’s poster, with the actors in the same order and similar poses.
A sequel to Sony Pictures’s Zombieland has been in the works for some time now, and Zombieland co-writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are back alongside the original cast and original director Ruben Fleischer.
The original Zombieland movie (rated R) released in 2009 was based on a shy student trying to reach his family in Ohio, a gun-toting tough guy trying to find the last Twinkie, and a pair of sisters trying to get to an amusement park join forces to travel across a zombie-filled America.
Zombieland 2 is currently scheduled for release on October 11 in the UK and US, just a little over 10 years since the first movie came out. It is expected to carry the same R rating as the first film. There’s no trailer yet, but with production underway, maybe we’ll see a teaser trailer soon!
