Calvert County Science & Engineering Expo

Calvert County Public Schools (CCPS) will host the 7th Annual Science and Engineering EXPO. This free family event is open to the public. The exhibits showcase CCPS science and engineering programs and are designed to be engaging for both children and adults. The EXPO will include robots, science and engineering projects, flight simulators, catapults and much more for the entire family to enjoy. NAWCAD Summer Internship Programs

Applications are open for NAWCAD Avionics, Sensors, and E*Warfare Department Summer Internship Programs. The programs offer rising high school seniors and rising college freshman an unpaid opportunity to gain exposure to aviation electronics and sensors, radio waves and radar technology at NAS Patuxent River. Applications due March 15.

Maryland Defense Cybersecurity Assistance Program (DCAP)

DCAP provides funding and assistance for defense contractors to comply with the DFARS and NIST 800-171 Standards for Cybersecurity. Coordinated by Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the program features compliance experts and provides funding and resources for companies to comply with these standards.

Buy Maryland Cybersecurity Tax Credit

The Buy Maryland Cybersecurity Tax Credit provides an incentive for Qualified Maryland Companies to purchase cybersecurity technologies and services from a Qualified Maryland Cybersecurity Seller. Qualified Maryland Companies may claim a tax credit for 50% of the net purchase price of cybersecurity technologies and services purchased from a Qualified Maryland Cybersecurity Seller.
